This post GN Solids Control will share with you our configuration of 2000 GPM slurry separation system for dredging.
Main benefits of the slurry separation system

Configuration of the 2000 GPM Slurry Separation System
(1) 2 x GNZS703 Shale Shaker
(2) 2 x GNZJ703-2S Desander
(3) 2 x GNZJ703-16N Desilter
(4) 4 x SB8 x6-13 Centrifugal Pump for feeding Desander & Desilter
(5) 2 x JBQ11 Mud Agitator (11Kw)
(6) 14.5 x2.5 x1.85 m Mud Tank
(7) Tank attachment & Electric control system
(8)3 x Light on tank
Dredged Slurry Separation Process
(1)The dredged slurry enters the slurry separation system directly from the dredge.
(2)In the first phase the slurry passes over scalping shale shakers to remove deris and larger particles.The debris include: grass,roots,leaves,cans.plastic,rags and bottles.Solids Size ≥0.41 mm will be removed from the fluids.
(3)The slurry with solids size ≤0.41mm. with the above deris removed drops into an isolated section of the tank where it is picked up by a centrifugal pump
(4)This pump moves the slurry to the second phase,which is the Desanding phase.the slurry is pumped through the desanding hydrocyclones,which removes the solids above 75 micron
(5)The overflow from these hydrocyclones drops into a second isoloated tank section,while the underflow is deposited onto vibrating screens for drying the solids.
(6)The slurry,which now has solids removed above 75 microns is picked up from this thank section by a second centrifugal pump and pumped through a bank of desilting hydrocyclones to remove the solids passed by the desanding hydrocyclones. This phase removes solids down to 25 micron.Again the overflow from the desilting hydrocyclones drops into the third tank section. while the underflow is deposited onto vibrating screens for drying.
(7)The now"cleaned" fluid is picked up by the thrid centrifugal pump to be transported to a point designated by the client.
(8)If want to separate fine particle,the next stage can use centrifuge.
