Hebei GN Solids Control Co., Ltd is experienced in solids control system for deferent drilling; we've finished some mud system for geothermal energy drilling that has been shipped to Kenya. Before that, a COC (certificate of commodity) is needed for import by Kenya government. Through a week’s preparation for materials needed by BV, the customer visited GN Solids Control’s factory for that inspection, consisting of a whole group of mud system and spare part.
There's 3 mud tanks and 2 stage equipment in this mud system. The first stage devices are shale shaker which could separate solids over 100 microns diameter and the second stage devices are desander which could removes contaminants over 40 microns diameter from the drilling mud. Both of these two devices are a component of the 1st mud tank that is usually known and called as treating mud tank. Another two tanks are mud storage tanks that are installed with mud agitators and mud guns for rotating to help keep the mud density under an average condition.
First of all, the inspector evaluates the whole system based on the paper bearing standards for inspection. He looked over carefully that if the product is strictly in compliance using the standards. After that he checked the spares based on the spares list. Finally, we passed the inspection and they told us our products were licensed.
It's enjoyable that GN had passed the examination, and then customer’s COC has been to be released for all of us. By the way, we were able to deliver it to Kenya. Besides mud system for geothermal energy drilling, GN also designs and supplies mud system for HDD drilling, tunneling. GN are also capable of designing and making the drilling waste management system which mainly consists of vertical cutting dryer, and decanter centrifuge to process solids released from shale shaker and mud cleansers.
