Recently, we have shared some rough methods to estimate the size of a GN tank. Today, we’ll introduce some information on the composition of GN mud tank.
For each GN tank, it’s made up of three parts: the first is the upper frame, the second one is corrugated board, and the third one is bottom frame. These 3 parts are welded together and converted into a tank.
1. Upper frame:
Whenever we utilize different size mud guns, the peak of upper frame isn't the same. In most cases, 2 inch mud guns are matched up with 100mm height upper frame while 3 inch mud guns are matched up with 120 mm height upper frame.
2. Corrugated board:
You will find five common kinds of corrugated board, levels differs from 1000mm to 2000 mm. And corrugated board with height 2200mm is just used once the tank has ended 70 m3.
3. Bottom frame:
Since bottom frame can be created of two kinds of H-formed steel: the first is 200H, another is 250H. The peak of 200H is 200mm and also the height of 250H is 250mm.
Usually, when the size of tank is less than 9.5m, the underside frame uses H-formed steel with 200mm height. So when the tank’s length has ended 9.5m, we decide 250 H-formed steel.
Following the mud gun dimensions are made the decision, we all know the peak of upper bottom. For that corrugated board, we ought to use 1000mm, 1250mm, 1500mm, 1800mm and 2000mm. Since these levels could be bought from providers directly, heights that aren't these certain amounts we might need attempt to adjust. Sometimes, we are able to cut the finished corrugated board into small pieces, and utilize a part of these to weld on a single complete sheet in order to fulfill the non-standard height demands. The underside frame could be made the decision while we know the size of tank. So a tough height of GN mud tank could be calculated.
