TBM projects are mainly the constructions in high way, railway, civil project of city and for laying the water pipes and electric transferring pipes with Tunnel Boring Machine. As long as the environment protection standards in many countries are higher than before, and the tunnel boring technology is developing rapidly, the requests for slurry separation technology and procedure are higher than before.
As the environment protection trend is spreading globally, ever since its design step, the slurry separation unit is aimed to take into consideration not only the efficiency and cost reduction, but also to give the least harm to the surrounding. GN Solids Control has been working in this industry as the slurry unit or slurry plant manufacturer for many years. By collecting feedbacks from end user and contractors of TBM project and based on the previous experiences, GN Solids Control designed and put into market many configurations of TBM slurry units with the smallest cutting point as 2-5 microns.
Some standards of GN Solids Control are from the high standards of clients who are world widely famous TBM Contractors, their requests are based from their working experiences, the countries’ environment standards and such requests are difficult to reach but reasonable and useful. As one of GN’s goal is to change the China Make into China Intelligent, GN spared no efforts to fulfill the clients’ request and came to the high standard equipment.
GNMS series Mud mixing system always contains 2 phase of separation, the shale shaker for separating the particles larger than 100 microns, and the desander cones of 10 inches to separate out particles larger than 40 microns. This standard design is suitable for most countries and cases, and on special request of client, GN could also add desilter cones of 4 inch to separate out the 20 microns above particles, middle speed decanter centrifuge for 5-7 microns and high speed decanter centrifuge for 2-5 microns.
