Established in the year of 2007, GN solids control walked through a road full of thistles and thorns. Today, GN definitely has played as the leader role of the China manufacturers for solids control equipment. Here we would like to share how GN is growing in the past 8 years, which proved GN is willing to face larger opportunity and challenge.
At the beginning of the foundation of GN, this company provided the full list of equipment for drilling mud recycling. During this period, GN’s equipment are mainly used for oil drilling, what GN’s equipment do is for primary solids control on the drilling mud which called drilling fluids. This type equipment are consisting of shale shaker, de-sander, de-silter and horizontal decanter centrifuge as well as some mud mixing equipment like mud agitator, mud gun. Also several types transferring pump are included in GN’s production line.
It is well known that there will be no process if a company cannot develop new technology or launch new equipment into the market. Focus on the no dig market, GN developed one type compact self-contained mud recycling system especially used for HDD project drilling mud recycling. This system is ranged from 200 GPM to 1500 GPM according to the treating capacity and the configuration. Australia is a market where the no dig technology is popular accepted and from GN’s first unit compact system sent to Australia in the year of 2011, over 20 units mud system already send there. GN’s this type mud system are also widely used in Coalbed Methane drilling projects. By now, GN has already realized to provide the complete mud system for both oil gas drilling and trenchless drilling projects.
With the issuing of more strict regulation on drilling waste disposal, more and more drilling contractors started to find some solution to recover more drilling fluids and produce more less discharges. Thus, there comes a new industry with the name of drilling waste management. The server of this business could used some drying equipment to recover more drilling fluids to make the drilling cutting more dryer for easy transportation, and then further treatment could be done on the cuttings in special facility. GN is also one of the manufacturers who always kept his eye on the market changing. As per the market request and customer’s feedback, GN launched the new equipment of vertical cuttings dryer and high G force drying shaker unit. After several-generation upgrading, the equipment are able to be used onsite with good performance. Later, GN continuously issued the design of the skid mounted waste management system which involves the cuttings dryer, waste centrifuge and transferring pump into one skid for easy transportation.
The requests from the market is always changing, you never know what the customer need. By using GN’s waste management system, some customers get back to GN with feedback ‘can you make the system more smaller footprint, as we don’t have enough space to put the large size skid’. Then GN’s modular design waste management equipment came to this world. The customer could get separate equipment from GN, and connect them onsite only with several pipes. This modular design brought great convenience for operator onsite as its layout is more freely.
In order to further reduce the cost of waste cuttings disposal and give better solution for the operators, GN designed the new equipment solidification unit for final disposal of the waste cuttings after treated by the waste management equipment. After treated by the solidification unit, the waste cuttings could be discharged directly for road paving, land farming, even to make the construction material.
GN will never fear the bad feedback from the customers, as each critics will push GN to a new level. GN will never satisfy with what have been got as it will make GN mark time. For larger opportunity and challenge, GN is already on the way.
